FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Senior Nadia Alexander followed Al Fullwood's lead from yesterday by breaking the school record in the shot put with a throw of 53 feet, 7.50 inches for a collegiate fourth-place finish and the top mark in the conference. The throw is made even more impressive by the fact she improved her NCAA Provisional Mark by over a foot and half and ranks her tenth in the nation.

Ruston, La.--Post season awards continue to come in for one of Louisiana Tech\'s best cross country runners. Zach Schuler, already voted to the 2nd team All-WAC, was recently voted onto the LSWA All-Louisiana Men\'s Cross Country team. Schuler was one of seven young men from around Louisiana to be voted on, and the only runner from Louisiana Tech.
WACO, Tx.--The Louisiana Tech men\'s cross country team completed their 2006 season this Saturday at Baylor University, in Waco, Tx., at the NCAA South Central Regional Cross Country Championships. Tech finished 14th over-all, and according to their head coach, Gary Stanley, had an good outing against some of Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana\'s best schools.
