2024 TOP STORIES: Jesuit Coach Leaves; Dominance Continues!

On May 10th of this year, MileSplit LA had breaking news.

After four years of unprecedented success, Jesuit's head cross country coach, Cullen Doody, left the program. At the time, Doody was moving to Boston where his wife was offered a job at a hospital which was too good to pass up. Later, Doody was able to land a collegiate job as he was hired as an assistant cross country coach at John Hopkins University. 

Jesuit assistant coach Nick Accardo assumed the reins of the most dominant program in Louisiana and would lead the Blue Jays to their fourth consecutive state cross country championship in November.
