On Monday afternoon at City Park in New Orleans, Jesuit XC head coach Cullen Doody told his team that he would be leaving the program and moving to Baltimore, Maryland. Doody's wife has accepted a CFO position at a Baltimore hospital. According to Doody, assistant coach Nick Accardo will be taking over the program.
It made for a special 2024 LHSAA State Outdoor State Championships as he watched his Blue Jays compete for the final time at Bernie Moore Stadium--a place that Doody knows well as a former LSU Tiger.
