PARKWAY FRESHMAN BRENNAN ROBIN CRUISES TO A WIN IN HIS FIRST HS RACE AT THE HS CLASSIC
The future is bright for La. High School track and field. All you need to look is look at the talented crop of freshmen, many who have made a name for themselves during the 2024 season.
Not only are some of these athletes the best in a state, a few are among the best in the nation.
It didn't Parkway freshman Brennan Robin to make his mark. He won his very first indoor race at the LSU High School Classic in January. A few weeks later, he would be the No. 1 freshman miler in the nation. Robin has carried that momentum outdoors where he has a season best of 4:17 at the La. Mile Festival in Ruston.
The time is No. 4 among all classes in Louisiana. Nationally, Robin's time ranks fifth.
Those two rankings are the highest among all freshmen in the state...on the track. The field events are another story.
