Top Indoor Team Programs: Sprints

There was a clear winner when it came to this division, it's probably easy to tell from the team scores from the state meet as well. One of these teams was in a league of their own at the state meet with two teams following up modestly on their squad scores.

Episcopal - 20pts

There was a clear runner to root for, for the Lady Knights in the individual events. Daila Young competed in the 60m hurdles and landed on the podium, earning herself a silver medal. She later aided her team in the 4x200m relay, where they placed fourth.

Her teammates on that relay, Alana Simon and Chloe Carmouche, kept that race in mind and returned for the 4x400m. They ran valiantly and held off Lake Charles in order to secure second place.

Brusly - 22pts

Brusly scored the majority of their team's points from the sprints, and that was heavily aided by Megan Williams. She barely won the 60m dash, by out-leaning second-place by one one-thousandth of a second.

Williams later competed in the 4x200m and 4x400m, where the team scored the remainder of their points. They placed second in the 4x200m and later placed fourth in the 4x400m.

St. Louis High - 47pts

St. Louis was dominant at the state meet and even more so when it came to the sprints. The 400m was huge for them with Kenzie Touchet and Hannah Boullion going first and third in the event. Touchet also competed in the 60m hurdles and won by a very wide margin.

Even more impressively, they dominated both the 4x200m and 4x400m. They took home gold in both events and left everyone behind in both events.

St. Louis had the second-highest scoring sprint program regardless of division or gender and was also the only school to score in every event.
