POLL: MileSplit LA Boys' Indoor Athlete Of The Year!

LAST MONTH, JACKSON BURNEY (4) WON HIS SIXTH CONSECUTIVE 800m STATE TITLE!

Congratulations to all of the finalists for MileSplit LA Boys Indoor Athlete Of The Year. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. 

ANTOINE TAYLOR (ALBANY)--The senior finished in the LHSAA D2 State Indoor Championships boys' 800m with a personal record time of 1:58.97.

 MICAH GREEN (RUMMEL)--The junior finished third in the LHSAA D1 State Indoor Championships boys' 60m with a personal record time of 6.90. 

AIDAN ANDING (RUSTON)-- Finished as the runner-up in the LHSAA D1 State Indoor Championships boys' long jump. Anding, and LSU Football signee, had a personal record jump of 23-1.25.

JAVONTE TAYLOR (NORTH DESOTO)-- Taylor qualified for the LHSAA State Indoor Championship in three events. He finished sixth in the triple jump (45-0.25), seventh in the long jump (20-9.5), and eighth in the high jump (5-10.75). The marks in the triple jump and long jump are personal records for Taylor. 

EMERSON CULLEN (DAVID THIBODAUX STEM)--Cullen finished sixth in the LHSAA D1 State Indoor Championships 3200m with a time of (9:39.75). 

JACKSON BURNEY (CALVARY)-- Burney, an LSU signee, won his sixth consecutive LHSAA state championship in the 800m at the 2025 LHSAA State Indoor Championships. Burney won with a time of 1:56.56. 

JADEN YOUNGBLOOD (MANSFIELD)--Louisiana's No.1 hurdler won the LHSAA State Championship in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.08. It's Youngblood's fourth state championship, but first since 2023 indoor season.
