VOTE: MileSplit LA Boys' XC Performer Of The Week!

BEN RULIFFSON COMES TO THROUGH THE LINE AT THE BORDER DASH WITH JACK KELLEY RIGHT BEHIND

Here are your finalists for MileSplit LA Boys Performer Of The Week. Congratulations to all of the finalists. The winner will advance to the MileSplit LA Boys Runner Of The Year. The poll closes at 9pm on Saturday.

AIDEN MONISTERE (PARKVIEW BAPTIST) -- Monistere ran the fastest 5K time in Louisiana history on Saturday at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, AL. His time of 14:57 surpassed that of Jesuit's Brady Mullen, who was the first runner to break 15:00 last year at Nike Town XC Twilight Invitational.

PEYTON LEVY (WALKER) -- Won the Episcopal Round Table Run on Saturday with a time of 15:57. Levy was only two seconds off of his personal record 15:55 from a year ago.

JACK COLLINS (BROTHER MARTIN) -- The senior was the No.2 runner for the Crusaders. Collins finished with a time of 16:16 which was good enough for 34th place finish. It was effort like that which allowed Brother Martin to score 159 points and finish third in a loaded field.

AUGUSTUN JUNEAU (CATHOLIC HIGH) -- Juneau finished seventh in the 46th annual Episcopal Round Table Run with a time of 16:30. Juneau's time is the fastest three-mile turned in by any freshman in the state.

BEN RULIFFSON (PARKWAY) -- Ruliffson finished second to his teammate Brennan Robin at Parkway's home meet--the 10th annual Border Dash. Ruliffson is a big reason the Panthers are a perfect 2-0 on the season after winning their opening meet at The Opener in Clinton, MS.

JACK KELLEY (WEST OUACHITA) -- The junior finished third at the Border Dash with a time of 15:40. His effort led the Chiefs to a runner-up team finish.
