Below, you will find the top 466 returning sophomore boys in Louisiana. Jesuit's Race Hughes had the fastest time of all freshmen in 2024. He finished No. 19 overall at the CHS Pete Boudreaux '59 Invitational. His time of 15: 34 was 11 seconds faster than the next fastest freshman--Augustin Juneau, who helped his Bears to not one, but two LHSAA state outdoor championships.
Hughes is just one of three boys who were ranked No. 13 among all Louisiana as freshmen. The other two include Rhys Grant (16:18) and Jackson Barns (16:35)
