POLL: MileSplit LA Girls' Performer Of The Week!

MANDEVILLE'S REESE JOHNSON (MIDDLE) COMPETES AT THE LSU HS QUALIFIER

Here are this week's MileSplit LA Girls' Performer Of The Week finalists. Congratulations to all of the young ladies who made the ballot. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. The winner will go on to compete for MileSplit LA Girls' Outdoor Athlete of the Year.

CAMRYN HAIK (ST. THOMAS MORE)- The defending LHSAA Division 2 Cross Country state champion had a big PR this week at the Beaver Club Relays, which serves as the Lafayette Parish championship. She finished as a runner-up with a time of 11:33.97. Earlier this month, she had a personal record in the 1600m at the Rams Relays with a time of 5:22.33.

MADISON JACKSON (VIDALIA)- Jackson is undefeated this season in the 100m hurdles. Her personal record is 15.43 at the Port City Glass Panther Relays. She continues the momentum she gained during the indoor season when she was the LHSAA Divsion 2 runner-up in the 60m hurdles with a 9.66. She has also won two out of three 300m hurdle races she has competed in this year. She has a personal best of 46.83, which also came at the Port City Glass Panther Relays. 

MICHELLE DAIGLE (ST. JOSEPH)- Daigle ran a 2:15 last Thursday at the Denham Springs Relays. It's the fastest 800m time in Louisiana this year. Daigle, who had a personal best of 5:05 in the 1600m earlier this month, is also ranked No. 2 in the mile behind her teammate Elise Brown (4:57). 

AVA HARTMAN (NEWMAN)- Went to No. 1 on Louisiana's 3200m list this week with her performance at the Ronnie Doyle Memorial. Hartman crossed the line at 10:58 becoming the second female to break the 11:00 barrier this year. Parkview Baptist's Lucy Cramer (10:59.28) was the only runner to have that distinction before for this week. 

REESE JOHNSON (MANDEVILLE) - Johnson is currently the fastest Louisiana high school female as she is ranked No. 1 in both the 100m (11.82) and 200m (24.29). Both times came in the Catholic Tip Off Invitational during the first week of the season. 

JOLIE JONES (BARBE)- Jones is currently ranked as the No.1 discus thrower in all of Louisiana. She has a best of 140-1 in a first-place performance at the Oil City Relays a week and a half ago. All-time, her throw ranks No. 5 on the Louisiana list for junior girls. 

ADDILYN DUFRENE (JOHN CURTIS)-Had a personal record of 5-8 in the high jump at the Ronnie Doyle Memorial Relays. She also won the hurdles with a personal record of 16.31. Only four sophomores in the MileSplit database have jumped higher than Dufrene's 5-8. She attempted 5-10 and was over the bar but clipped it with her heels on the way down. At present, she is tied with Barbe sophomore Aniyah Lavan for No. 1 in Louisiana. 

MARLEY RICHARD (DESTREHAN)- The Destrehan junior is ranked No. 2 in Louisiana in both the long jump (18-10) and triple jump (39-8). Both of those marks were early in the season. Earlier this month, Richard competed at the New Balance National Indoors where she finished seventh in the long jump with a leap of 39-8.5. She finished 20th in the long jump with a best mark of 18-3.25. 

ADDISON RICHEY (TEURLINGS CATHOLIC)- Is tied at the top of Louisiana's No. 1 vault ranking with Cabrini's Bailee Villavaso with her jump of 13-4 which won the Charles Lancon Invite. She is undefeated in her two meets outdoors and is on a five-meet win streak.
