KOEN AND KALEN BEAVERS SPRINT TO THE FINISH LINE IN THE '23 MI2 FINALS OF THE 55m!
There was some brotherly love in the finals of the 55m at the 2023 McNeese Indoor No. 2 as the Fastest Twins In America battled out. While they both made the podium, it was Carencro senior Koen Beavers (6.57)coming away with the first place finish. His twin brother, Kalen Beavers (6.65), was third.
In Louisiana, they would go on to be ranked No. 3 and No. 6, respectively, over the 55m distance.
Both will be in the McNeese Recreation Center on Saturday for this year's McNeese Indoor No. 2 but they will serve as student workers. McNeese State University head coach Brendon Gilroy saw enough of the twins last year to offer them a scholarship.
They are now McNeese St. Cowboys.
