BOYS' WEEKLY RANKINGS 9/27:
Rank | Team | Last Meet | Previous Ranking | Details |
| 1 | Jesuit let the junior varsity loose once more. No sight of the varsity squad since the Southern Stampede
| Mount Carmel Cub Run 2022 | 2 | Massive win for the Crusaders as they had three boys break 16-minutes and go 1-2-4.
| 3 | Like Jesuit, Ruston lets the junior varsity squad gain some race experience. No new developments from the varsity
| Episcopal Round Table Run | 4
| Huntington Raider XC Invitational | 5 | The Panthers had their junior varsity run this past weekend much like other top teams.
| 7 | Took a safe 2nd place to Brother Martin. Volpe and Baldassaro delivered a strong 1-2 punch for the team alongside a great follow-up for their third runner, Davis.
| LCA Knights Invitational | 6
| 8 | |||
| 2022 STA-Southland | 9 | The duo of Bankston and Nizzo strike again alongside freshman standout, Cooper Hunt. The team took a slight victory over Parkview Baptist to win the meet. This performance was a great step up from how they performed last week.
| 10 | Walker seemed to run in packs of duos and secured 4th for the team. A very respectable finish when looking at the competition surrounding them.
| DSHS Yellow Jacket Dash | 11
| 13 | Parkview Baptist narrowly took 2nd to St. Michael. This wasn't Parkview's best performance, but it was certainly one of their better ones. The team continued to flex its strength of pack running with a final 1-5 split of 52 seconds.
| McNeese Cowboy Stampede | 12 | This race had its gives and takes for the team. Some runners had great days and others were shy of what they could have done. Overall, this performance is an improvement from how this team performed last week.
| Dominican/Holy Cross Invitational | 14
| 15 | |||
| 18 | This run was a massive win for Belle Chasse. Drake Breland and Jace Luckoski made this possible by claiming two of the top ten positions. Not to mention overall improvements from the rest of the team. The team took a small victory over Walker and placed 3rd.
| 16 | |||
| 17 | |||
| Garmin MileSplit TX XC Invitational | 19
| Hammock Invitational 2022 | 20 | Lafayette traveled out of state to Dunedin, Florida and easily won the meet with a final team score of 41 points.
| 21 | This performance was a great improvement from last week for Vandebilt. The entire team outshined their previous performance by a wide margin, leading us to believe that last week was just an outlier.
| NR | St. Paul's jumps back into the rankings and are looking in much better shape than what we have seen in the weeks prior. The top five all collected season bests and have kickstarted their program's return. This could be a turning point for the Wolverines.
| Cedar Creek Wallace Martin Invitational | 23 | West Monroe lays claim to the team title and Landon Spears remains undefeated this season. The remaining four of the top five all had a great showing and proved that running together is greater than running alone.
| 30 | Mandeville narrowly loses to West Monroe by just 5 points, but outside of that, the team performed much better than what we have been seeing. Of course, these were all not season bests, but the team is on an upward trend.
| 22 | This was not necessarily E.D. White's best performance, but it is still above average. The team took 6th out of a highly competitive field.
| 24 | Compared to the team's last race, this resulted in an almost identical team finish. Though the times were vastly different, the team's end result is close to the same.
| 26 | This was a moderate improvement for the team. They did not necessarily have the best race last week, but the team improved upon their previous marks.
| 25 | |||
| NR | Ponchatoula took 4th thanks to great development with its runners. Three of its top five runners had dramatic jumps in fitness in comparison to last week.
| 27 | This was one of Newman's best performances as a team and it is something definitely to be proud of. |
Just missed: Pineville, Hahnville, St. Martin's Episcopal
