Over in Danville, AL, another LA runner was having the cross country race of her life. Gabrielle Jennings took home the AAU national title with a 5k PR of 18:12. Jennings led wire to wire and won by an impressive 11 seconds. Club teammate Haley Dean finished 34th with a 5k PR of 21:06.

The race was a fitting close to the last chapter of Gabrielle's cross country legacy. She will be remembered as one of the greatest ever to come from our state and also has some national hardware to show for it.

The boys squad from Southeast Louisiana Roadrunners finished in 10th place. The team consisted of Logan Lucas, Nicholas Randazzo, Hunter Dupre, David Anthon, Jude Vitrano, and Chris Freese.
