Class AAAA
Alexa Breaux of Vandebilt Catholic won the 4A title with a 20:08 over a fast closing Haley Dean of Lakeshore (20:13). Breaux lived up to her status as one of the favorites for the title. She led her team to a runner up spot to St. Michael's who bested them 44-83.
State was a formality for Jacob Daigle of Assumption who jogged a 17:00 for a victory over Alex Landry of St. Michael's. St. Michael's won in a landslide over Assumption though, 49-112. Believe it or not, St. Michaels was down 19 points to Assumption at the 2 mile mark!
