TULSA - True freshmen Lauren Bartels and Moses Aloiloi led the way for their respective Tulane cross country teams at the American Athletic Conference Championship on Friday morning at Mohawk Park, with Bartels posting a new personal-best time in the 6K and Aloiloi placing seventh overall on the day.

LAKE CHARLES, La. - Much like the first two meets of the season, Tulane cross country's youth shined in competition on Saturday at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede at the Enos Darbonne Sports Complex in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as rookie Moses Aloiloi finished first amongst all collegiate runners in the men's 4-mile while freshmen Emma Newton and Lauren Bartels posted top-10 finishes in the women's 5K.

GREENVILLE, S.C. - For the second consecutive meet, true freshman Moses Aloiloi paced the Green Wave men's cross country team as the native from the Republic of Kenya finished fifth amongst all Division I runners at the Furman XC Classic at the University Golf Course in Greenville, South Carolina, on Saturday morning.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - While a small contingent of Tulane track and field athletes competed at the Seminole Twilight in Tallahassee, Fla., late Friday evening, some posted big results, including redshirt freshman javelin thrower Daliadiz Ortiz, who continued her torrid pace heading into the postseason stretch.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Freshman Taylor Potts and sophomore Jessica Adamson recorded new personal bests in their respective events at the Southern Miss Black and Gold Invitational for the Tulane track and field team on Saturday in Hattiesburg, Miss., while also advancing their rankings in the Conference USA standings and increasing their chances of competing in the NCAA East Regionals in just a few weeks.With no competition on the schedule last weekend, and with finals on many of the athletes' minds, the Green Wave got stellar performances just an hour and a half up the road from New Orleans. Seven Tulane track and field athletes recorded new personal-best marks on the day.

BATON ROUGE, La. - For the second consecutive day, Tulane's track and field team posted strong results, as five event titles were won and many personal records broken at the LSU Alumni Gold meet in Baton Rouge, La., at the Bernie Moore Track Complex on Saturday.

MOBILE, Ala. - Four Tulane track and field athletes posted the top finishes in their respective events, while the women's 4 x 400 meter relay team also placed first, on Saturday in Mobile, Ala., at the South Alabama Invitational, held at the Jaguar Track on South Alabama's campus.

STANFORD, Calif. - Just one night after some Tulane track and field underclassmen stole the show at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Stanford, Calif., the youth contingent for the Green Wave continued to perform at a high level, as true freshman Mary Carson Pitts won the pole vaulting event title with the second-best jump in school history.

NEW ORLEANS - After a night filled with nasty wind and rain in the Greater New Orleans area, the weather cooperated on Saturday afternoon at Tad Gormley Stadium in City Park for the Tulane Team Challenge, with many sprinters, hurdlers and jumpers posting new personal bests, on top of sophomoreTamika Brazzel's new school record in the 100-meter hurdles..

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Following a day in which the Tulane track and field coaching staff raved about the improved marks made by the team during the first day at the John Mitchell Alabama Relays at Sam Bailey Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., six 800 meter runners and two pole vaulters posted new personal bests while the men's 4 x 100 meter relay team ran one of the fastest times in school history on Saturday.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Tulane redshirt junior Merritt Van Meter cleared her first bar at the NCAA Indoor National Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M., clearing 4.00 meters (13-1.5) and placing 16th in the biggest meet of the season.
