Louisiana Classics Collegiate Invitational 2012

LAFAYETTE, La. – The Loyola University New Orleans men’s and women’s track team traveled to Lafayette Saturday to compete in the annual Louisiana Classics. The meet was held at the Raging’ Cajuns Track/Soccer Facility.

LAFAYETTE – Wins by Sarah Emory in the 10,000 meter run and Ashley Aldredge in the javelin, a school record 400 meter hurdles winning time by Consuela Lindsy, and a victory in the women’s 4x400 meter relay topped Northwestern State performances in the Louisiana Classics Track Meet hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.

LAFAYETTE – McNeese State's Ben Chretien uncranked one of the best javelin throwers in school history here Saturday, getting off a toss of 234-11 as he placed second in the event at the Louisiana Classics track and field meet.
