The team consisted of Kai Fontenot, Ayden Carter, Javon Vital, and Derrick White.
"We knew we had something special with this group, but today they proved it," LCCP head coach Jackie Rhine said. "That wasn't just speed, that was discipline, chemistry, and trust in each other. Every exchange was sharp, every leg did their job, and that's why you're looking at the fastest 4x1 in the state. We're proud, but we're not satisfied. This is just the standard for now."
LOUISIANA BOYS 4X100m RANKINGS
The relay will be in action again this week at the Meet of Champions.
The No. 2 4x100m relay in Louisiana will be running in their home meet-- The Raider Relays on Thursday at Lee Hedges Stadium in Shreveport. The Raiders have been the standard in Louisiana since week one when they ran a 41.77. They lowered their season best and state-leading mark to 41.48 at the Airline Viking Invitational.
