Baton Rouge, La.- Nicholls State's Jaqueline Sanders established a new school-record in the pole vault on Friday at the Bengal Invitational at LSU with a 16th-place vault of 9-feet-4-inches.
Other finishers included Jodi Dufrene, who finished 17th in the 800-meter run with a time of 3:12.45. In the 1-mile run, Naomi Quisenberry and Nicole Triche finished 16th and 18th, respectively.
Anastasia Jones recorded a 14th-place showing in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 12:15.71, while Jamie Johnson led the way in the shot put with a 17th-place throw of 34-04. Also recording marks in the shot put were Lacy Picou and Jessica Alexie.
Other individuals who competed but didn't record any marks were Rebecca Politz, Jenny Willie and Amy Sweat.
