HANNAH BOULLION OPENED HER SENIOR YEAR WITH La.'S ALL-TIME BEST--55.0--INDOOR 400m!
Last year's indoor season got off to a bang at the LSU High School Classic. A big reason for that was the Ladies From the Lake- Barbe's Kennedi Burks and St. Louis High Hannah Boullion, who surprised no one by going 1-2 in the 400 meters.
Burks, running in heat No. 4, won with a time of 58.54. Bouillon (58.63), running in heat No. 1, was a close second
Neither Burks nor Boullion are planning on competing in the Classic this season which means track and field fans in Louisiana-especially Southwest Louisiana-will have to wait until to watch two of the best in LHSAA history go head-to-head.
Bouillon got an early jump on her season at the FasTrak HS Indoor Challenge in Houston last month where she ran a 55.0 on the banked track at the University of Houston. That is the fastest time any Louisiana high school female sprinter has recorded.
