For the first time during the 2026 indoor season a team trophy will be handed out at the end of Saturday's LHSAA State Indoor Championships. And it's not just any team trophy. It's a state championship trophy. The favorites are the same teams who won state titles in 2025, but there are several programs-- like the Lafayette Lady Lions--who are loaded with talent and looking to know off the defending champions. In the Division II boys race, Lake Charles College Prep looks good on paper, but the Trailblazers have been banged up late. Will that open it up for another team to knock off LCCP?
