Through the first three weeks of the La. HS cross country season, there have been a plethora of girls who have shown improvement during the early part of the season. Genevieve Blanc is the most improved runner in Louisiana is not surprise to first-year head coach Howie Inman, who took over the program at his alma mater this summer.
"It's funny you are telling me this, because I told her all summer that if she keeps working hard she would be the most improved runner in Louisisana," Inman said.
Blanc has improved 4:15 when taking her best time during the first three weeks of the 2024 season and comparing with her best time this year--a 20:27 effort at St. Michael's Bayou Boogie.
