We are going to start our rankings articles with the 60m where Warren Easton's Germain Smith-Mata returns as the No. 1 ranked returner in Louisiana, although the leaderboard is crowded with elite talent.
Like last year, Smith-Mata will open his indoor season in Alabama at the Galleria Games at the Crossplex in Birmingham. Like last year, Smith-Mata will be looking to defend his title form a year ago and bring another gold medal back to New Orleans.
Speaking of New Orleans. There must be something in the water in Orleans Parish. Almost every sprinter in the top 10 hails from Louisiana's largest city.
