POLL: Vote on MileSplit LA Boys' Coach of the Year!

PHILIP GUIDRY(HAT) AND THE TIGERS CELEBRATE AFTER WESTGATE'S THIRD CONSECUTIVE STATE TITLE

Here is the ballot for MileSplit LA Boys' Coach of the Year Award. The one thing that all of the coaches on the ballot have in common is that they led their teams to an LHSAA State Outdoor championship. Catholic's Sean Brady--in his first season--led the Bears to a Class 5A title. Westgate's Philip Guidry and his Tigers successfully completed the three peat. Coach Charles Smith led the Wossman Wildcats their first state championship since 2004. Mansfield Mychal Word led Mansfield to their third consecutive state title since winning the 2022 LHSAA State Outdoor Championship--Mansfield's first in 35 years. Gibsland-Coleman's Maro Malone and ESA's Travis Tolbert led their teams to a state championship in their first year. This poll will close on Saturday, May 20th at 9pm. Congratulations to all of the head coaches for winning a state championship and being a finalist for coach of the year.
