West Feliciana's Tristen Harris came into this season as one of the best long jumpers in the nations..and one of the fastest sprinters in the nation. With only the national championships remaining, Harris leaves in-state indoor action in the same place where she came in--at the top of the rankings.

Harris leads Louisiana in both the 60m (7.44) and the long jump (20-2.5). Nationally, Harris ranks No. 25 in the nation in the 60m and No. 6 in the nation in the long jump. 

Only East Ascension shot putter Kiristen Mcgirt is ranked higher. Mcgirt, who had a best throw of 49-7.25 at the LSU HS Classic, is ranked No. 3 in the nation. 

Another Louisianian ranked high on the national scene is Barbe's Kennedi Burks, who became the first sprinter in state history to break 55 seconds indoors is ranked No. 9 in the nation with her 54.36 from the LHSAA State Indoor Championships.
