The names are the same, but some of the uniforms have changed for a couple of Louisiana's top returners in the field events.

Oshamar Hall jumped 6-8 last year in the 4A Region-I Meet. No returner jumped higher, but Hall, after spending a year at Booker T. Washington High School in Shreveport, is back at Huntington High School, where he began his high school career.

Woodlawn's Mehki Smith knows a thing or two about transferring from one school to the other. Last year, Smith competed for Scotlandville and had a personal record of 53-0 on his way to a District 4-5A Championship, but Smith needed a change of scenery and has found a new home at Woodlawn--Baton Rouge. 

Senior Hayden Christman hasn't changed schools. In fact the only thing the state's best returning discus thrower (172-6.5) wants to change about last season's outdoor campaign is his place second place finish in the LHSAA Class 4A boys shot put.
