BOYS' WEEKLY TEAM RANKINGS 10/25
Rank | Team | Last Meet | Previous Ranking | Details |
| Jack Schommer | 1 | Jesuit had another chance for the junior varsity to gain some race experience. The team took second place overall and had an impressive 38 second split, proving the depth of this program.
| Jack Schommer | 2 | Like Jesuit, the Crusaders also ran its junior varsity and culminated to a third-place finish. Though not as fast as Jesuit's B team, the split between its top runners both equaled 38 seconds.
| NSU Pre-State Meet | 3 | ||
| Benton High Tiger Tracks | 4
| Airline Viking XC Invitational | 5
| Jack Schommer | 7 | Teurlings took the team win with a confident 32 points. In addition to that, the team was also able to secure its entire top five within the first 14 runners to cross the line. There was not much flare or challenge in this race for this team; we ended up seeing exactly what this team should be able to do.
| Jack Schommer | 6 | Holy Cross only made an appearance with four runners. This is not the first time that this has happened this season, which leaves the question of whether one of their runners is injured or if the team has enough runners to make an impact at the state meet.
| SNL XC Invitational | 8 | ||
| Bronco XC Stampede | 9 | ||
| District 6-5A Championship | 10 | The results from this meet appear to be slower than what could be expected from some of these athletes, so time is not a valid comparison in this case. Although, we did not see some of the best performances come from some individuals on the team. This could all be variable between "off" days or course terrain or weather, so it is unclear to what could be the reason behind this. In the end, Mandeville took a close second to St. Paul's.

| Watson High School Cross Country Classic | 12
| Jack Schommer | 17 | Acadiana had a great race, placing two within the top ten. This is one of the team's best performances so far this year and is shining bright as we near the state meet. The combination of Hernandez and Brown leaves a lot of doors open for this team, but no team wins state titles with just two runners.
| Livingston Parish Championship | 13 | Walker nails a perfect sweep of 15 points and seven runners within the top eleven. This has got to be a great confidence booster for this team as it rears toward regional qualifiers for the state meet.
| Randy Zell Classic | 14
| Jack Schommer | 18 | Dutchtown is proof that a team does not need low sticks to be a successful program. The team's highest finisher rolled in at 18th and the team still pulled off a respectable 5th place finish at this meet.
| District 6-5A Championship | 15 | The Wolverines crown themselves as champions with a two-point victory over Mandeville. Though the odds may have seemed stacked against them to topple Mandeville, this team stands as a testament that results are determined on paper, it's decided on the grass.
| Terrebonne Parish Championship | 16 | Vandebilt took an easy win, placing five within the top eleven and crowning themselves champions. In addition to a team victory, they also took the individual title with Elijah Hunter.
| Bronco XC Stampede | 19
| Watson High School Cross Country Classic | 20
| SNL XC Invitational | 21

| SNL XC Invitational | 23
| District 6-5A Championship | 24 | Slidell's trio of front runners helped secure a 4th place finish for the team. The combination of Williams, Kirby, and Sanchez all slipped into the top ten.
| Catholic High Invitational | 25
| Watson High School Cross Country Classic | 26
| Jack Schommer | 27 | Belle Chasse took on the field while missing two of its top runners. One would think that this would place this team at a significant disadvantage, but the team still managed to hold on to a 6th place finish.
| District 6-5A Championship | 28 | Ponchatoula knows what consistency looks like. Looking at these results, it's just one after the other with no let-up. The team had a 1-5 split of 57 seconds and almost managed to snag the championship. Ponchatoula was just one point behind Mandeville and a mere three points away from the team title that was won by St. Paul's.
| Randy Zell Classic | 29
| Bronco XC Stampede | 30 |
Just missed: John Curtis, Barbe, Lafayette High
