McNeese State’s Christi McRae set her second school record in as many days during the Tyson indoor track and field invitational meet in Fayetteville, AR on Saturday.
The Cowgirl sprinter broke her own 200 meter record by posting a 24.41 clocking. She finished 20th in the event. LSU’s Samantha Henry won the event with a 23.61 effort.
On Friday, McRae had broken her own school record in the 400 meters when she finished fifth in the event at the Tyson, running a 54.21.
She will be back in action next weekend when the Cowgirls and the Cowboys compete in the Southland Conference indoor championship meet in Houston.
