Roderick Houston qualified for the championship finals in the 100-meter dash after he posted a time of 10.48 seconds.
Louis Stevens advanced to the finals in the 110-meter hurdles with his time of 14.66 seconds. Stacey Fuller advanced in the 400-meter hurdles after recording a time of 53.86 seconds.
In women’s action, Casey Brown earned the five points for the Cajuns after she placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Brown recorded a time of 11:39.93.
Paula Parker qualified for the finals in the 800-meter run after she recorded a prelim-time of 2:20.31.
Quantisha Rambo and Jasmine Anderson both qualified in the 100-meter hurdles. Rambo recorded a time of 14.49 seconds and
