McNeese State's Christi McRae finished third in the women's 400 meter dash at the Kansas Relays, posting the second fastest time in school history.

The Cowgirl freshman ran a 53.91 which is also the fastest by a Southland Conference performer this season.

Also during the Kansas Relays, Michael Dyer finished 5th in the 800 meter run with a 1:51.97 effort which is the fastest by a Cowboy this season. Men's javelin thrower Ben Chretien went 176-1 and finished 19th in that event while the 4x1 mile relay team of Stephen Scullion, Jordan Neil, Michael Dyer and Johnathan Koenck ran fourth with a clocking of 17:57.35.

Also, DeAnn Washington placed 19th in the women's discus at 129-2 and the men's 4x800 meter relay of Scullion, Michael Washington, Neil and Dyer ran an 8:00.37 for eighth place.

In the only result from the LSU meet, McNeese's Dwight Charles posted a 49.31 effort in the 400 meter dash.
