MONROE, La. --- ULM track & field head coach J.D. MALONE has announced the names of three more student-athletes who will be joining the Warhawk program in Fall 2007, bringing the two-team total to 18.
The new group includes three incoming freshmen Ruslan Hemed, Matthew Moore, and Sarah O'Neal.
"We are having a great recruiting season and look forward to the contributions that each of our signees will be making to the program," said Malone.
Ruslan Hemed claimed the Israeli decathlon championship in March 2007 and set the second best score ever by an Israeli.
Matthew Moore is a hurdler from Norman, Okla. The Norman North High School graduate was the 6A state runner-up in 110 hurdles as a junior and fifth this past spring. His personal best of 14.05 is the third-best time in the state. He holds a 300 hurdles personal best of 38.68.
Sarah O'Neal is a pole vaulter from Alexandria, La. The graduate of Alexandria Senior High School has a personal best in the event of 12'. She finished second in the 4A outdoor state meet and third in the indoor state meet.
