KEIRA MELAN (3) COMPETES IN THE LSU HS QUALIFIER 800m
With only two more polls remaining during the 2025 indoor season, here are your finalists for MileSplit LA Girls' Performer Of The Week! The winner will move on to compete for MileSplit LA Girls' Indoor Athlete Of The Year. This poll will close on Saturday at 9pm.
MARLEY RICHARD (DESTREHAN)-- Richard has been impressive all season. The LSU signee is ranked No. 1 in Louisiana in the triple jump with a best of 37-11. She is also ranked No. 2 in La. in the 60m and the long jump. She has a season best of 7.54 (60m) and 19-2 (long jump).
ADDILYN DUFRENE (JOHN CURTIS)-- Goes into this week's LHSAA State Indoor Meet as Louisiana's No.1 high jump with a season best of 5-6.25. That marks put her at No.30 in the nation and No. 10 in the country for the Class of 2026.
CATALINA REICHARD (MT. CARMEL)-- Made her long-awaited return to the track at the LSU Last Chance Qualifier running in the 3200m. Reichard finished third with a time of 11:23. That time ranks No. 4 in Louisiana.
DAI'JAH ROBERTSON (WARREN EASTON)-- The sophomore has been consistent at the top of the sprint rankings all year and helped Warren Easton to some impressive performance in the sprint relays. She finished with a personal record of 7.72 at the LSU Last Chance Qualifier where she finished fourth. That time ranks No.1 in Louisiana for sophomore girls. It's also No.21 in the nation for the Class of 2027.
KEIRA MELAN (DUTCHTOWN)-- Ran a season best 2:21 at the LSU Last Chance Qualifier. That moves the sophomore up to No. 6 in Louisiana. She just missed the podium last year as a freshman at the LHSAA State Indoor Meet. Don't expect that to be the case on Saturday.
ELLA WILLOUGHBY (ST. AMANT)-- Willoughby had a personal record 5:31 at the LSU Last Chance Qualifier. She came back in the 3200m to run a time of 11:29, which puts the junior at No.6 in Louisiana.
