WARHAWKS EARN 10 TOP-10 FINISHES AT BAYOU BENGAL

BATON ROUGE, La. --- The ULM men's distance medley relay team won their first race of the season tonight at the LSU Bayou Bengal Invitational. Maya Aden, Mychal Word, Andrew Opata, and Matt Brophy gained victory with a time of 10:16.61.


ULM earned top-ten finishes in nine other events in the first competition of the 2007 indoor season for the Warhawks.


Aden also picked up a second-place finish in the men's 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:53.50.


Sophomore Sadrina Shaw earned her first top-ten finish of the season with a time of 9.20 for eighth place in the women's 60-meter hurdle finals. Shaw turned in a preliminary time of 9.18 that seeded her ninth in the finals.


Junior Malcolm Bosworth earned ninth place in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 52.09.
