Open 2 Mile
The open 2 mile race featured several varsity teams and many junior varsity squads as well. This race featured a similar scene as the open one mile where the starting line was barely big enough to fit the hundreds of competitors.
Competition was fierce with several runners breaking 12 on the boys side and 13 on the girls side. With implications for the state championships in three months, on the boys side St. Paul's dominated with well over half of the top 10 finishers (the depth is there) and on the girls side McGehee had a solid outing, now entering the 2A arena again.
