HATTIESBURG, Miss. - It hadn't happened for the Tulane men's cross country program in eight years, but on Saturday at the Southern Miss Dedicated Cross Country Facility when the Green Wave claimed the team title with a stout 16-point performance. The women's squad finished runner-up to the host Golden Eagles to cap the solid day on the course for the program.  

After having their season opener ruined by Hurricane Isaac, the Tulane Cross Country program finally opened their season at the South Alabama Azalea City Classic. Paige Callahan posted her highest career finish with a fourth place showing on the women's course and Mark Manion ran a major personal best to finish 16th overall in the men's race. Southeastern Louisiana and Xavier also made the trek . SLU recorded a 7th place team showing in the men's race; 10th in the women's, while Xavier's men were 8th and the women were 9th.  

DES MOINES, Iowa - Senior Ana Ruzevic capped off her senior season by grabbing Second Team All-America honors in the javelin at the 2012 NCAA National Championships. Ruzevic finished 15th overall in the event at the NCAA summit with a throw of 46.74-meters to grab All-America honors for the second straight season in the event at historic Drake Stadium.

  JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Looking to secure her second trip to an NCAA Championship this season, Estefany Cruz came up just short of advancing to the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The rookie posted her fifth best leap of the season to finish among the top-50 jumpers in the nation in the event.  

BATON ROUGE, La. - With the pre-championship portion of their schedule winding down, the Tulane track and field program posted another solid showing at the LSU Alumni Gold on Saturday (April 21) at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium.

MOBILE, Ala. - It was a test of wills for most on Saturday (April 14) as the Tulane track and field program competed with their opponents and the wind during the South Alabama Invitational. Nine Green Wave student-athletes claimed individual crowns on the afternoon and an handful of participants claimed personal-best performances.

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Tulane track and field program saw one student-athlete grab a meet record and four women's competitors advanced to Saturday's sprinting finals on Friday (March 23) evening at the LSU Relays hosted at Bernie Moore Track Stadium.

SAN DIEGO - Mother Nature wasn't friendly to the Tulane track and field program on the final day of the 2012 Aztec Invitational. Severe weather around the San Diego State Sports Deck shortened the Saturday (March 17) program, but six Green Wave competitors were able to compete in the outdoor opener.

BOISE, Idaho - It wasn't the result that Estefany Cruz wanted, but the freshman was able to represent the Tulane Track and Field program at the NCAA Indoor National Championships on Saturday evening at the Jackson Indoor Track in Boise, Idaho.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - It was a day that didn't go as planned for the Tulane track and field program, but a second place finish from freshman Estefany Cruz and a scoring mark by senior Zandria Debowles highlighted the final day of the 2012 Conference USA Indoor Championships.    

BATON ROUGE, La. - It was one last chance to fine tune their skills on the track before the championship portion of the schedule and the Tulane track and field program took full advantage of their opportunity by setting nine personal records at the LSU Twilight meet hosted at the Maddox Field House.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - A pair of career-best performances highlighted the second day of competition for the Tulane track and field program at the Tyson Invitational. Estefany Cruz and Candice St. Etienne each posted top-ten finishes in their respective events at the Randal Tyson Track Complex on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Tulane track and field program got a very good test during the opening day of the Tyson Invitational, with six different student-athletes competing inside the Randal Tyson Track Complex. The meet features six of the top-ten squads in the country and nine of the top 25 teams.

NEW ORLEANS - When the Tulane track and field program awoke for their second day of competition at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, they were greeted with eight inches of snow. That frigid weather didn't affect their performance on the oval inside the Bob Devaney Sports Center on the University of Nebraska campus as they captured eight top-ten finishes on the final day of the event.  

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - With five top-ten finishes on day two of the Cherry and Silver Invitational, the Tulane track and field program had a "good day" according to head coach Eric Peterson. Estefany Cruz posted the team's highest finish of the weekend with a third place showing in the triple jump, Candice St. Etienne placed fourth in the 800 meter, Jamie Riles and Kasey Rodgers each posted fifth place showings in their respective events.  

  BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Three student-athletes penciled their names into the Tulane track and field record books on Saturday (Jan. 14) at the Crimson Tide Indoor Opener. Estefany Cruz, Zandria Debowles and Briana Santiago highlighted eight top-ten showings on the oval at the Birmingham CrossPlex.  

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The indoor season started on Thursday (December 8) when the Tulane track and field program traveled to the Birmingham CrossPlex to compete in the Birmingham Ice Breaker Invitational. Six student-athletes grabbed top-five finishes and the Green Wave posted 13 top-ten marks as a team.

WACO, Texas - It was a historic day for the Tulane cross country program, as the men's and women's squad both competed at the NCAA South Central Regional for the first time since the 2000 season. The two squads have competed at the regional competition, but have not accompanied each other for over a decade and did so on the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course near the Baylor University campus

HOUSTON, Texas - Tulane's cross country program traveled to Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Saturday (October 15) and came away with a pair of top-15 finishes at the Crimson Classic, hosted by the University of Alabama at the Harry Pritchett Running Park. The men's squad grabbed a 13th place showing and the women's squad claimed at 14th place overall finish.    

HOUSTON, Texas - Paige Callahan continued to lead the women's squad and Brian Lozes paced the men's team for the second straight meet as the Tulane cross country program had a solid performance at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede. The men's team grabbed a third place finish with 71 points, behind McNeese State (27) and LSU (33), while the women's team compiled 69 points to place fourth, trailing Nicholls State (51), McNeese (53) and LSU (68).

HOUSTON, Texas - Paige Callahan again led the women's team and Brian Lozes returned to the top of the leader board for the men's squad on Friday evening at the Justin F. Cooper Memorial Rice Invitational. The men's squad placed seventh of nine teams and the women's team claimed fifth place among seven squads.
