Run Wild presents the Louisiana Border Dash

Description: This year Parkway High School will be hosting the 14th Annual Border Dash Cross Country Invitational, inviting any and all teams from Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi to compete. High School teams and runners must be a member of their state athletic association.
Course: 3-mile grass course, mostly flat, extremely fast, no repeat loops
The course will begin and end next to the team areas and restrooms.
This year, we will be offering a Freshman Division. If an out-of-state school has a Junior HIgh whose 9th graders are eligible to run for their high school, they are eligible to compete in our freshman division.
Chip Timing and Live Results: This years high school and middle school meets will be chip timed with live results posted.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top 10 finishers in each race.
Concessions will also be available for purchase
Coaches please register your teams and rosters at the meet link on la.milesplit.com by Tuesday, September 8 at noon. If you have any trouble, you can email your roster to kent.falting@bossierschools.org . Emailed rosters must include school name, athletes name, and gender.
Please contact Coach Falting to confirm your interest or for more information. We would like to have a rough head count of teams participating by September 1.

8:30am Varsity Girls 3 mile
9:10am Varsity Boys 3 mile

10:10am High School Awards
Cost: $75 per varsity race (up to 20 runners) and $50 for the freshman race (unlimited entry). If a school runs athletes in both varsity races, it will be $150. If a school chose to run in both the varsity races and the freshman race, the cost is $200. If you register more than 20 runners for any varsity race, there is an additional $20 charge for every 10 additional runners. There will be a $10 spectator fee per car. Please make checks payable to Parkway Cross Country.
The course will be open for inspection Friday afternoon and evening for high school teams staying overnight. Please email Coach Falting for assistance with hotels and dining.
