Description:
This year Airline High School and Cope Middle School will be hosting the inaugural running of the Airline Vikings XC Invitational on Saturday, October 15, 2022. High school and middle school teams are welcome to participate.
Course:
The high school course is a 3-mile grass course, mostly flat, extremely fast, and no repeat loops.
The course will begin and end next to the team areas and restrooms.
The 6th grade middle school course will be a 1 mile loop that is visible for spectators throughout the race. The middle school 7th & 8th grade course will be a 1.5 mile loop that is visible for spectators throughout the race.
Chip Timing and Live Results:
This years high school and middle school meets will be chip timed with live results posted.
Awards:
Awards will be given to the top 10 finishers in each race and the overall team champion in each division.
Concessions:
Water bottles and snacks will also be available for purchase.
Registration:
High school and middle school coaches please register your teams and rosters at the meet link on la.milesplit.com by Monday, October 10, 2022. You may register as many runners as you want for each event.
Please contact Coach Angel Turnbow to confirm your interest or for more information. We would like to have a rough head count for participating teams by Friday, October 7, 2022.

Cost:
$50 per school (unlimited entries). If a school runs athletes in both gender divisions, it is still $50. There will be a $5 spectator fee per car. Please make high school division checks payable to Airline Cross Country. Please make middle school division checks payable to Cope Middle.
