BATON ROUGE -- No team in the history of women’s collegiate track and field has dominated the 4x100-meter relay like the Lady Tigers, and they showed why they are the team to beat once again after setting a new Bernie Moore Track Stadium record at the LSU Alumni Gold.

BATON ROUGE -- The LSU track and field teams will wrap up their home schedule this weekend as they play host to a world-class field at the LSU Alumni Gold to be held at the Bernie Moore Track Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

BATON ROUGE - Throughout his squad's preparation for the 2008 outdoor track and field season, Southeastern Louisiana University track and field head coach Sean Brady stressed the need for his squads to "peak at the right time of the year." As the stretch run of the outdoor season now approaches, Brady is even more confident that his team is on the right path after several personal and school records were rewritten at the prestigious LSU Alumni Gold in Baton Rouge on Saturday.

BATON ROUGE, La. - Senior Shanon Beelendorf qualified for the NCAA Regional in the 400-meter hurdles, and senior Aubrey Phillips won the 5,000-meter run with a personal-best time to lead the Tulane University track and field team at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational held at Bernie Moore Stadium.

BATON, ROUGE, La.-Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the LSU Alumni Gold track meet on Saturday. Senior Casey Brown earned a career-best time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

MONROE, La. --- Junior Destiny Montemayor continued her torrid outdoor season and the Warhawks track and field team placed 10 individuals in the top 10 of their respective events at the annually tough LSU Alumni Gold meet at Bernie Moore Track Stadium over the weekend.
