The Grambling State men’s track team traveled to Baton Rouge, La. this past weekend to participate in the 2008 LSU Tiger Relays at Bernie Moore Stadium. Grambling State had a productive weekend on the track as the men captured 23 top 10 finishes and three top three finishes in the relay events.
Baton Rouge - A personal best of 4:41.85 in the 1500 meter run by freshman Amy Guinn highlighted McNeese State's performance Saturday during the LSU Relays.
BATON ROUGE – Northwestern State sophomore Trecey Rew won the women’s shot put in a 49-6 1/2 throw Saturday at the LSU Tiger Relays track and field meet.
BATON ROUGE - Senior thrower Teremine White took first in the discus, and hit an NCAA Regional Qualifying mark, with a throw of 54.85 m (179 ft, 11 in) and had four throws over 17.0 m in the shot put, capping his day with a 17.86 toss in the shot put to claim second place at the Tiger Relays on Sunday.
BATON ROUGE, La.-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns men’s and women’s track and field teams competed in the LSU Tiger Relays over the weekend. Freshman Kenneth Bellard placed first in the men’s triple jump.
