Baton Rouge - A personal best of 4:41.85 in the 1500 meter run by freshman Amy Guinn highlighted McNeese State's performance Saturday during the LSU Relays.

Guinn finished third in the event in the "A"division.

Also during the day, David Richardson finished second in the men's javelin and the men's distance medley relay team ran second.

Richardson recorded a toss of 203-11 in the javelin while teammate Ben Chretien was fourth with a throw of 198-10.

The distance medley relay team of Michael Dyer, Jordan Neil, Michael Washington and Johnathan Koenck posted a 10:17.85 clocking.

DeAnn Washington finished fifth in the women's shot put at 42-1 and was 8th in the discus at 127-11 and Tim Guillory went 46-3 1/2 for ninth place in triple jump.

Christi McRae, who had qualified for the finals in the women's 100 meter dash, false started in the event while Jessica GonzalezPons ran 15.23 for ninth in the 100 meter hurdles.

In the women's "B" division of the 1500 meters, Sarah Jayne Boyce ran fifth at 5:11.4 and Katarina Caraway posted a 5:29.26 clocking.

Koenck posted a 4:06.09 in the men's 1500 meters for sixth place and Alasdair Russell ran a 4:14.11.

Late Friday, Cowgirl pole vaulter Julie Buller went 11-1 3/4 for fifth place while Amy Aguillard finished seventh at 10-8 and Emily Lewis was ninth at 10-2.
