LAFAYETTE – Three NCAA Regional qualifying performances, including a win in the men’s 4x100 meter relay, and Aaron Heflin’s victory in the 3000 meter steeplechase highlighted Northwestern State’s participation Saturday in the Louisiana Classics track and field meet.

LAFAYETTE, La. --- ULM thrower Destiny Montemayor picked up her first collegiate win in the women's discus on Saturday at the Louisiana Classics. The sophomore from Watauga, Texas, won the event with a throw of 45.12 meters (148' 0").
