McNeese State's Mariah Georgetown placed eighth in the 100 meter hurdles during the USATF junior championship meet in Eugene, OR on Friday.
She posted a 13.97 clocking and earned all-America recognition.
During the past season Georgetown set McNeese school records in the 100 hurdles and the heptathlon. She had placed third in the heptathlon during the recent Southland Conference championship meet.
