HUNTINGTON'S TERRIONA RICHMOND ON HER WAY TO A VICTORY IN THE 100m HURDLES

The Huntington girls and Tioga boys flexed their muscles in Mansfield on Thursday evening at the Wolverine Relays. The Lady Raiders scored 95 points, 14 more than runner-up North DeSoto while Tioga won by 27 points in the boys division.
Huntington was led by Zykereya Duncan and Livvy West. Duncan won the 100m (12.34) and 200m (25.91) and also ran a leg on Huntington's winning 400m meter relay team.
West, who won the 400m (58.38), was also a member of the relay team which ran a 48.83. The time ranks No. 2 in Louisiana behind ARCA's 47.98.
Tioga was led by Tyler Newland who won the 800m (2:01) and 1600m (4:42). Newland also ran a let on Tioga's winning 4x400m relays. When you add his points for his part in Tioga's third-place 4x800, nobody at the meet scored more than Newland's 24.5 points.
Other members of Tioga's winning 4x400m relay team included Braydon Dominguez, Angelo Shelton, and Joel Doughty
The Huntington girls picked up other wins from Terriona Richmond (15.31)in the 100m hurdles, and runner-up finishes from Ayana Jones (5-2) in the high jump, Deniya Taylor (18.39) in the 100m hurdles, and McKenzie Lott (12.57) in the 100m. Huntington's 4x400m relay team (4:17) also finished second.
Lott and Raylen Johnson were the other two members of the Huntington 4x100m.
Tioga's other winners included Naradda Roy in the discus, and runner-up finishes were turned in by Sjavien Champion (44-0.5) in the shot put.
