Despite the unseasonably hot condition at the LHSAA State Cross Country Championships, close to 200 girls improved their time from a year ago. In the chart below, you will find the top  189 most improved girls at the state meet. 
Of the hundreds of girls who competed in Natchitoches, Many senior Lola Curtis was the most improved runner at the state meet. Her time of 24:23 was an improvement of six and a half minutes from the same meet the year before. 
Other notable improvements were Quitman's Lindsey Woods (4:21) and South Cameron's Debra Manuel (4:11) and Haven Thibodeaux (4:33)
