POLL: MileSplit LA Boys' Performer Of The Week!

 BRAEDEN DUNNE (2502) RUNS WITH THE CRUSADER PACK AT THE SJA XC INVITATIONAL

Here are the finalists for this week's MileSplit LA Boys' Performer Of The Week! Congratulations to all of the finalists. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. The winner will move on to compete for MileSplit LA Boys' XC Runner Of The Year.

JACKSON BURNEY (CALVARY)-- Opened his season with a win at the C.E. Byrd Fall Invitational, edging out Airline's Jayden Williams. Burney's time was 16:16.

BAXTER CARROLL (PROVIDENCE CLASSICAL ACADEMY)-- Leading PCA's inaugural season in LHSAA action, Carroll had a strong showing at the C.E. Byrd Fall Invitational with a third-place finish of 16:21. 

WILLIAM COBURN (C.E. BYRD)--The freshman was Byrd's No. 2 runner and helped the Yellow Jackets to a runner-up finish in their home meet. Overall, Coburn finished in the Top 10 and his time of 17:35 is the fastest time run by a freshman in North Louisiana this year. 

BRAEDEN DUNNE (BROTHER MARTIN)--The senior finished third a the highly competitive St. Joseph's Cross Country Invitational. Dunne's time was a personal record 15:20 and moves Dunne to No. 4 on Louisiana's three-mile list. Duinne led the Crusaders to a runner-up finish at the meet. 

LANDEN JUNEAU (DUTCHTOWN)--Finished sixth at the SJA XC Invitational. Juneau's time was 15:26, a personal record by 12 seconds and the second race in a row he has run a personal best time. 

RACE HUGHES (JESUIT)--Hughes, who has the best first name in Louisiana high school distance running, had the fastest time of any freshman at the SJA XC Invitational. Hughes' time was 15:44 and good enough for a finishing spot at No. 15. Hughes' time is 46 seconds faster than any freshman in Louisiana over the same distance this season. 

AIDEN ONISHEA (PARKWAY)-- It was a historic day on Saturday for the Parkway Panthers as they went to Highland Road Park on Saturday and came away with the team's first win in school history at the highly competitive SJA XC Invitational. Onishea was a big reason why. He was the No. 3 runner for the Panthers. His time of 15:46 was good enough for a No. 17 finish. It's a 35 second personal record for Onishea, who has run had personal records in his last three races--Parkway's Border Dash (3-mile), Nike South (5K), and Saturday's SJA Invitational.
