Top 20 Freshmen Boys And Girls in Louisiana!

NORTH DESOTO'S KATELYN ALLEN HAD THE FASTEST TIME AMONG FR. GIRLS AT THE BORDER DASH!

The season is only two and a half weeks old, but that hasn't stopped a handful of freshmen across Louisiana who have shown they are ready to run with the big boys...and the fast girls. In fact, Parkview Baptist freshman Molly Cramer has the fastest thee-mile time in all classes of the LHSAA. 

In her opener on Saturday, Cramer ran a 17:53, which is over a minute and half faster than the next fastest freshman girl--which is Episcopal's Ada Mere. 

While the top two freshmen girls, who competed at the high school level as middle school runners, are no stranger to high school action, No. 3 and No. 4 are newcomers. Currently, Kaitlyn Garidel is No. 3 with a current best of 20:47. Mattie Adams is at No. 4 with a time of 21:06. 

Both Garidel's and Adams' times were from Saturday's Episcopal Round Table Run. Not far behind the pair was Mt. Carmel's Alexandra Roche' (21:09), who is ranked No. 5 on the list of fastest freshmen girls in Louisiana.

North DeSoto's Katelyn Allen (21:11) turned in the fastest time of any freshman girl at Parkway's Border Dash on Saturday morning at South Bossier Park.

On the boys' side, Catholic is loaded with young talent, including the state's top freshman--Augustin Juneau (16:30). Joining Juneau at the top of the list are fellow Bears Andrew Mascari (No. 3; 16:46), Blaze Miller (No. 4; 17:19) No other school has more than one runner in the top ten.
