INTERVIEW: Parkway's Brennan Robin On Firecracker 5K!

After one of the most successful freshman seasons in Louisiana high school distance running, Parkway's Brennan Robin looks to keep the momentum going into 2024. He certainly looked the part on Thursday morning as he participated in Parkway's team tradition of participating in the Sportspectrum 5K, which began and ended at Mall St. Vincent.

In a field which consisted of over 1,900 runners, Robin was the third overall male and was the top high school finisher with a school record time of 16:00. He beat the old school 5K record set last year by teammate Gabriel Falting

Falting, who will head off to Jonesboro, Arkansas on August 4th to continue his running career as a member of the Arkansas State University program, participated for his first time in the Firecracker 5K as a Parkway alum. In fact, Falting--along with the other Panther alumni--challenged the current team as they made their way to the starting line.

Hear what Robin had to say about his race, and what he is looking forward to in 2024.
