11 INTERVIEWS from the Mansfield Wolverines Invitational
Track and field athletes from CENLA showed up and showed out at the Mansfield Wolverines Invitational on Wednesday. And it was a CENLA team--Alexandria Senior High--who left Mansfield with both team trophies as Coach Freeman's swept the meet.
"I always like the resiliency of our kids," Freeman said. "Compared to last week's meet, this meet is a little more competitive. Our kids love to rise to the occasion. I also love to see how our kids respond when we don't have the best race and something doesn't go our way. You can see it in their eyes. They want to fix it and get better. It's been a really good meet."
