WEST FEL'S TRISTEN HARRIS FLYS THROUGH THE LINE IN THE 60m QUALIFIER FINALS!
If you're looking for more accomplishments to add to West Feliciana's Tristen Harris' impressive resume from this weekend's LSU High Schol Qualifier, add this to list. Harris moved to the No. 1 spot on the rankings of Louisiana's fastest high school girls. She surpassed Scotlandville's Sade Gray's 7.51 from the FasTrak Athletix Indoor Challenge in December.
After the first two, five out of eight of the next fastest sprinters in the state competed last Saturday at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse. This includes the University of Notre Dame commit Reese Johnson (7.62) and Zachary's Sariah Bethley (7.66).
Rounding out the top five is Scotlandville's Makeriah Harris, who did not run in the 60m at the LSU HS Qualifier. Her season best of 7.73 came at the LSU High School Classic.
