We have seven athletes who have made the ballot this week. Congratulations to all of the finalists. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm.

Glen Oaks' Na'ryan Delone - Defeated a strong field in the boys 400m at the McNeese Indoor No. 1 Meet which included the LHSAA Class 5A defending champion (Scotlandville's Ferzell Shepard) and hometown favorite (Barbe's Daryl Washington). How strong was the field? The top seven times were under the old meet record of 51.59 set by Carver's Derrick Price in 2017. Delone's time of 49.86 puts him in Louisiana's sub 50 club. The only other member is John Curtis' King Taylor. Delone finished just off the podium at the 2023 LHSAA Class 3A State Meet with a time of 48.62. However, he did make the podium in the 100m where he finished third with a wind aided time of 10.63
