Gordon Gros (Loranger)-- Won the 4A boys' pole vault with a jump of 14-11. He beat Blake Guidry, who cleared the same height, on fewer misses.
Jordan Johnson(Benton)-- Won the 5A boys' high jump by clearing the bar at 6-7.5.
Wynn Turner (Episcopal)--Helped the Knights to a state championship by winning the 110 meter hurdles (14.59) and second in the 300 hurdles (38.78).
Nathan Harvey (Quitman)--Won the Class B state chanmpionship in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 42.68 despite falling not once, but twice in the last 20 meters for the race. Harvey also finished as the runner-up in the 110 meter hurdles (16.25).
DeAvery Durham (Gibsland-Coleman)-- Finished as the runner-up to his cousin, Demarquis, in both the 100 meters (11.29) and 200 meters (22.98). Also ran a leg on Gibsland-Coleman's winning 4x100 relay.
Max Tsolakis (University Lab)-- Helped University Lab win the Class 3A State Championship by winning the 800 meters (1:56.79), 1600 meters (4:22.03), and 3200 meters (9:56.54).
