BRENNAN ROBIN RUNS THROUGH THE LINE AT THE BORDER DASH

After the first three weeks of the Louisiana high school cross country season, Lafayette Christian Academy's Talan Sievers has established himself as Louisiana's top's freshman boy. 

Sievers ran an impressive 16:02 at Episcopal's Round Table Run. He was even more impressive a week later at LCA's Knight Invitational. Sievers won with a personal record and school record 15:35. 

North Louisiana has some impressive freshmen in their own right. The group is led by Parkway's Brennan Robin, who led the Panthers in their runner-up performance at the loaded MemphisTwilight Classic. 

Robin followed his season opening performance with a 16:08 at Parkway's Border Dash. Robin's time was good enough for third place as the Panthers set a meet record scoring an almost perfect 16 points. 

Other freshmen in the top five include Central's Phillip Watts, Zachary's Max Gennaro, and Central Lafourche's Trey Detillier.
